South Brunswick needs crossing guards for upcoming school year

South Brunswick's National Night Out event was presented by the South Brunswick Police Department at Rowland Park on Aug. 6.

The South Brunswick Police Department is looking to fill crossing guard positions for the 2019-20 school year.

All work is performed outdoors regardless of weather and the job sites can be anywhere throughout the township. Working times vary according to school schedules.

The salary range for the part-time school crossing guard position is $11.56-$21.23 per hour. Applicants must be 18 years old or older and possess a high school diploma (or GED). Applicants must also possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license with a good driving record. Background checks will be conducted on all prospective applicants.
