Workshop on combatting bias and prejudice will be presented by South Brunswick Library on July 15

Area residents attended a protest in Hillsborough at the intersection of Amwell Road and Route 206 on June 6 to bring attention to racial injustice, to call for an end to racism and to mourn the life of George Floyd.
As part of the South Brunswick Library’s virtual Continuing Community Conversations Event, “Stop Bias – Bias, Prejudice & Stereotypes – How Do they Impact Us? Learn to Recognize, Respond and Report” will be held at 7 p.m. July 15.
The discussion will feature David S. Leonardis, Training & Outreach liaison, Prosecutors Supervision & Training Bureau, OAG/NJ Division of Criminal Justice; and Chief Investigator David D’Amico, chief investigator for Middlesex County Department of Corrections, president of the New Jersey Bias Crime Officers Association.
