“Regarding the vigil, it went great, even though the officials weren’t in attendance. The platform was set and a conversation was had by Black and White mothers and actions formulated. It definitely served its purpose in my view. Now we need to get the officials on board. Our next event is planned for Aug. 23 in Linden,” Ammons said.
