The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be doing roadwork on Route 1 in South Brunswick for the next week.
The work will include milling and paving, updating guide rails and drainage, and striping the roadway, and is scheduled to begin on March 11, weather permitting.
The work will be done primarily during overnight hours, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending by 6 a.m.
This work will be performed between Route 522 and College Road.
During this project, temporary lane closures are expected. Drivers may wish to plan alternate routes during these times to avoid delays.
