South Brunswick police are investigating an incident that took place at the La Mirage Motor Inn.
A woman said she was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the La Mirage, 3775 Route 1, around 11:20 a.m. Aug. 29, according to information provided by the South Brunswick Police Department.
The suspect allegedly fired a round into the air from a weapon, then fled in the victim’s vehicle.
There were no injuries in the incident.
