Vo-tech students prepare donated coats for the needy

John Salcedo, a junior from South River, was among the dry-cleaning students in the School of Career Development on the East Brunswick campus of the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools who prepared almost 700 coats and more than 100 other garments for distribution to the needy. The winter coat drive was sponsored by the South River Board of Health, East Brunswick Township, East Brunswick Parks and Recreation, Alternative Integrated Medical Services of East Brunswick, the Youth Group of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick and the MCVTS School of Career Development.
