• The Allentown Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St., Allentown. Eric Blasco of Erb Food and Garden, Philadelphia, will discuss hugelkultur, a German technique used to build rich, organic garden soil. Visit AllentownGardenClub.net.

• The Allentown FFA Alumni will host its ninth annual gift auction and spaghetti dinner at 6 p.m. March 19 at the Hope Firehouse, 82 Route 526, Upper Freehold Township. Proceeds will provide students with opportunities to pursue careers in veterinary science, agricultural technology and mechanical systems, earth sciences, environmental science, horticulture, aquaculture and many other fields. • The Horsemen’s Association of Millstone Township will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Millstone Community Center, Stagecoach Road (next to the firehouse). In addition to regular business, the association will be making plans for the spring pace at the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area. The topic of interest at the meeting will be “What to Look for When Buying a Used Horse Trailer.” Anyone who has an interest in horses is invited to attend the meeting and learn about upcoming trail rides and other activities. • The late winter sessions of Dancing by the Peddie Lake with Candace-Woodward-Clough will take place every Thursday for four weeks beginning Feb. 25 at 112 Etra Road, Hightstown. • The Manalapan Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee will host a Lionel train show at the Manalapan Community Center, 114 Route 33 West, Manalapan, on Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All ages are welcome to attend and to enjoy train displays.
