Black History Month talk set at library

To celebrate Black History Month, the Long Branch Free Public Library will host Dr. Walter D. Greason, of Monmouth University, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at 328 Broadway.

Greason will hold an open forum on topics ranging from progress since the 1800s to contemporary challenges. All are welcome to attend.

He is the author of “The Path to Freedom: Black Families in New Jersey,” “Suburban Erasure: How the Suburbs Ended the Civil Rights Movement” and “The American Economy: Documents and Essays.”
