Metuchen Library’s New Jersey Makers Day Celebration will be held from 1 p.m.-4 p.m on March 19. The Metuchen Library will hold an afternoon of activities, and introduce community members to a variety of STEM-based programs and activities offered at the Metuchen Makery.

Makers Day is a celebration of maker culture across New Jersey. This all-ages event connects individuals that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEM-based learning. It allows communities to share hands-on programming opportunities, demonstrations, displays, and the expertise of the individuals that make, create, and develop right in their own backyards.

Demonstrations and activities will include 3D design and printing, robotics, coding, a marble roller coaster and art-related activities.  A “design your own t-shirt” activity will also be held, so please bring a white or light t-shirt if participating. No registration is required. For questions, call the library at 732-632-8526.
