Middlesex County to offer series of composting workshops

Middlesex County residents who are concerned about the environment can learn how to reduce waste and improve soil.

Three free composting seminars are being held at the Middlesex County EARTH Center in Davidson’s Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave., South Brunswick.

Backyard composting will be held 10 a.m.-noon April 10 and 16; and vermi-composting using worms will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 19.

Workshop attendees may pick up pre-purchased compost bins at the workshops.
