The first Jonathan Baksh Memorial Riverfront Beautification Project will be April 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Edison Boat Basin and River Walk, off Meadow Road in Edison. Volunteers are welcome.
Baksh, 19, of Edison, passed away on Aug. 17, 2015, after a tragic drowning accident at a quarry in Easton, Pennsylvania. Baksh shared some wonderful times at the Edison Boat Basin with his family and friends; he always wanted to make it beautiful.

Volunteers will participate in initial clean-up and planting. All supplies will be provided by Edison Township, including gloves, trash bags and water.
