Edison Library to hold college admissions workshop May 11

Students and parents who are getting ready for college can now come to the Edison Library to get help navigating through the numerous opportunities available.

On May 11 at noon at the North Edison Branch, 777 Grove Ave., learn how to make sense of the financial costs and opportunities available to students. Did you know the average student takes six years to finish their undergraduate education? The average cost of school is between $20,000 and $70,000 a year now. Overwhelmed by the college application process? Learn how to help your teens get into college with real takeaways. Parents will learn how to financially prepare for college.

Students in eighth through eleventh grade and their families are invited to join.

Registration is open to the community on www.edisonpubliclibrary.net. Community members can also register by phone at 732-548-3045.
