getTV is adding four series from the 1980s to its Monday through Friday action/crime block beginning Monday, May 2. Airwolf (1984 – 1987) will take to the skies at 2 p.m. with Jan-Michael Vincent as the pilot of a high-tech helicopter, search for his lost brother and embarking on deadly missions for the mysterious firm, with the help of Ernest Borgnine and a solid supporting cast. At 3 p.m., a trio of Vietnam War vets (Perry King, Joe Penny and Thom Bray) cruise around California cracking the toughest cases in the 1984 thriller, Riptide. At 4 p.m., Brian Keith and Daniel Hugh Kelly star in Hardcastle and McCormick (1983 – 1986) forming an unlikely bond, as a retired judge teams up with the last man he convicted to investigate a series of cold cases. At 5 p.m. each weekday, getTV will celebrate The Equalizer (1985 – 1989) with this hit crime series’ 30th anniversary, starring Edward Woodward as a private detective with a mysterious past, who uses his skills to deliver vigilante justice for his innocent clients. In honor of the 100th anniversary of when the Easter Uprising began, SundanceTV will premiere the Irish drama Rebellion as a special three-part miniseries event beginning Sunday, April 24 through Tuesday, April 26 at 9 p.m. each night, charting the birth of modern Ireland during one of the most tumultuous and dangerous periods in history. Brian Gleeson, Charlie Murphy, Michael Fairley, Ruth Bradley and Sarah Greene star.

AMC will premiere season 3 of its Revolutionary War spy thriller Turn on Monday, April 25 at 10 p.m. Starring Jamie Bell as Abraham Woodhull, the 10-episode season 3 will build towards one of the most notorious moments in American history — the treasonous defection of Benedict Arnold (Owain Yeoman).
