‘Kicks Are For Kids’ to present Kids Safety Awareness Seminar May 14

“Kicks Are For Kids” will present a Kids Safety Awareness Seminar  on May 14 at 1:15 p.m. at 23 New St., Metuchen.

Professionals from Metuchen’s Fire Department, Police Department and First Aid Squad will present safety issues relating to their expertise.

Donations are requested to benefit “Kicks Are For Kids.” A suggested donation is $10 per child or for groups of 10 or more, $5 each is appreciated.

Children will learn what to do if there’s a fire in your home and how to prevent it. They will learn about household chemicals and their dangers. They will learn how to handle social pressures and be street smart. They will learn what to do in the event of an accident. They will understand not to get involved with the wrong crowd.
