The Long Branch Free Public Library, 328 Broadway, Long Branch, will hold a workshop, Introduction to TimeBanking, from 4–6 p.m. on May 18 and June 15. TimeBanking is a way of giving and receiving to build supportive networks and strong communities. One hour helping another earns one TimeBank Hour (also called time credits, service credits or time dollars) and builds on the magic of “pay it forward,” one good turn leading to another and another. Learn how this concept works by attending this free workshop. This program is free to the public and families are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. This workshop is presented by Monmouth Cares and the ResourceNet timebank.
