John P. Stevens H.S. to host NJAJE State Jazz Finals April 30

Nine high school bands from across the state will be performing at the NJAJE State Jazz Finals, including both the nationally recognized John P. Stevens High School Jazz Ensemble and Lab Jazz Band, on April 30 at John P. Stevens High School, 855 Grove Ave., Edison.  Awards for outstanding soloists and sections will be distributed, along with the placement of the Top 3 Bands from New Jersey.

The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. Cost is $9 for general admission and $6 for senior citizens and students. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
