HILLSBOROUGH: Thieves take coins from cars

Thieves even want loose change.
Hillsborough police reported three incidents of someone entering unlocked vehicles during the night and taking coins, among other items.
— A Mulford Lane resident said April 5 his wallet and loose change, with a total value of $32, were stolen from his vehicle.
— A Walker Drive resident said April 12 two unlocked vehicles were entered overnight, and $5 in loose change was stolen.
— A Riverview Terrace resident reported April 15 his wallet and coins were taken from his unlocked overnight. Total value of the items was put at $51.
