RED BANK — Alumni from the New Jersey Shore Conference’s oldest football rivalry, Red Bank Regional (RBR) and Long Branch high schools, will face each other at their first alumni game slated for 4 p.m. May 14 at the Count Basie turf field at 11 Henry St., Red Bank.

The game will bookend a year marked by great athletic success for the current RBR team, which went undefeated and reached the state championship for the first time in decades. Many alumni players were present at this past season’s games enthusiastically cheering their alma mater to victory, according to a press release. Now, RBR’s current players have the honor and opportunity to return the favor.
