Land-use group announces upcoming events

Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) will screen a movie about climate change at 7:30 p.m. May 16 at the Holmdel Community Center on Crawfords Corner Road. This event is free, and light refreshments, including popcorn, will be served.

On June 20, Ben Spinelli will discuss the new initiative, “Grown in Monmouth,” which was created to promote products grown and produced in Monmouth County. More information will follow.

CILU is inviting community members to a Shrewsbury River Eco-Cruise on Sunday, July 17. Baykeeper Debbie Mans will be the guide aboard the Captain John.
