The versatile Boggs was a sprinter, hurdler and jumper for the Mustangs. She competed in multi-event competitions while at Marlboro.

Boggs has passed speed and versatility to her daughter. Reid, who started out as a sprinter, was inspired to do the hurdles, she said, because its an event her mother ran.

Reid also ran fourth in the 400 dash (59.04) and second in the 100 hurdles (15.23). She is a junior.
