Scholarship Ball set for May 27

The Brookdale Community College Foundation will honor Monmouth Medical Center and Thomas Bracken, president and CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, during the 2016 Brookdale Scholarship Ball, on May 27 at Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club, 20 Shore Oaks Dr., Farmingdale.

The ball is held in support of the Foundation’s “Building Minds, Building Futures” scholarship fund, which supports local college students who do not qualify for traditional financial aid. The ball will begin at 6:30 p.m. and feature a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and music by the Carl Gentry Band. Auction items include vacation packages, event tickets, artwork, designer handbags, an autographed Bruce Springsteen box set and a variety of unique dining and entertainment experiences.
