New Egypt High School’s girls and boys outdoor track and field teams could have a lot of entries worth watching in next weekend’s NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group I championship meet after the efforts they turned in their league meet last weekend.

Freshman Seleste Leal swept the sprints, junior Tiffany Bautista won both distance runs and senior Natalie Suess won all three jumping events, as the Warriors’ girls won the team title with 141 points at the Burlington County Scholastic League Freedom Division meet at Northern Burlington Regional High School May 14. The girls won nine events.
