A 22-year-old woman was the victim of an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Spelman Hall on the Princeton University campus around 2 a.m. May 29, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim and her alleged assailant are known to each other, said spokeswoman Casey DeBlasio of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
Although the assault occurred during the annual Reunions weekend, when Princeton University alumni gather on the campus, the victim is neither a Princeton University student or a graduate.
No charges have been filed, and the incident remains under investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and Princeton University’s Department of Public Safety, Ms. DeBlasio said.
