Marc Gaffrey of Monroe, the supervising partner of Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas’s Environmental & Toxic Tort Litigation Department in New Brunswick, was sworn as a new trustee for the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA) during an event on May 25 at The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge.

Gaffrey is the co-chair of the MCBA’s Environmental Committee. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Syracuse University and has worked in toxic tort litigation during a 28-year career. He concentrates his practice on environmental litigation, hazardous waste, chemical exposure and regulatory and compliance. He has handled thousands of cases and is also national coordinating counsel to multiple companies encompassing an array of business disciplines. He has authored various articles, is a frequent lecturer and is an adjunct professor at Rutgers University.
