Thomas Donovan, manager of the Weichert, Realtors Middletown sales office, announces that the office will once again be participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Middletown event, scheduled to take place on June 11-12, beginning at 2 p.m. at Middletown High School North.
The signature event, organized by the American Cancer Society, will include a non-competitive overnight relay-style walk where participants and survivors celebrate what they have overcome, remember people lost to the disease, and honor people who have fought or are fighting cancer. Teams are asked to have at least one representative walking around the track at all times to symbolize the fact that “cancer never rests.” In addition to the relay, participants can expect a night full of activities, music and games.
“My team and I are honored to participate in an event that raises awareness about this devastating disease within our local communities,” Donovan said. “In line with the Weichert culture, we are privileged to work with the American Cancer Society to contribute to the powerful impact they make for those in need.”
