Café La De Da, a European-style gourmet coffee bar, recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location in the Elite Trampoline Plaza, 549 Route 35, Middletown.
Middletown Township Mayor Gerard Scharfenberger cut the ribbon June 25.
Café La De Da is owned by Grace Sepe and managed by Isabella Caputi, Grace’s daughter. The café is a full espresso bar offering a diverse variety of gourmet coffees and teas, including espresso, cappuccino, cold brew lattes, specialty coffee drinks and chai teas. The café features lounge-style and window seating complete with free Wi-Fi.
To help promote healthy lifestyle choices, Café La De Da provides a unique line of custom smoothies formulated under the direction of Executive Pastry Chef Laura Dardi. The smoothies feature organic, raw, plant-based and vegan ingredients, and there is an assortment of gluten-free, vegan and Paleo-friendly options.
Bagels and breakfast sandwiches as well as desserts in the French tradition are also served. In the future, the café will expand into raw desserts and offer regular and vegan lunch options. Café hours are 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
