Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office to hold civilian academy

The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for its Sheriff’s Civilian Academy.

The academy is designed to educate Middlesex County residents on the various functions and duties of the Sheriff’s Office.

The program will meet 7-9 p.m. for eight Wednesdays starting Sept. 14 at the Middlesex County Police Training Center, North Patrol Road, Edison, culminating with a graduation ceremony scheduled for Oct. 26. There will be one Saturday class.
