SOUTH AMBOY — The South Amboy YMCA received a $2,500 grant from the South Amboy Elks National Foundation for its Livestrong program.

The Livestrong wellness program is designed for cancer survivors and those fighting cancer on a daily basis. The program provides a certified wellness trainer that works with each individual on the level of their physical strength and keeps an accurate record of participants to show how they are improving and progressing to a healthy lifestyle through exercise and stretching.
