In the East Brunswick Public Schools students are the priority! From the very start of their school journey, East Brunswick Public Schools prepares students for challenges they will meet in the future by building a strong foundation in character education, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, world language and health. Beginning in full-day kindergarten, students receive instruction in art, music and physical education. The students are unique; therefore the efforts are directed toward identifying and meeting individual needs. Accordingly, they encourage diversity and flexibility in the programs. At the secondary level, the journey continues with a comprehensive elective program which rounds out each student’s individual course of study. After school, students have the opportunity to compete interscholastically on athletic and academic teams, or participate in other extracurricular activities. Ninety-four percent of graduates go on to pursue post-secondary schooling. The students average a 1708 SAT score, which is 200 points higher than the state average. EBHS students received a head start with 7,507 college credits worth $2.6 million earned through college accredited courses. Eighty-three percent of the students participate in the award-winning visual and performing arts courses. Registrations are ongoing for 2016-2017. For more information, visit www.ebnet.org.
