Enjoy Explore India (EEI) is organizing an Art and Writing Competition for youth and adults expressing the theme, “Light is good from whatever lamp it shines.”
Artwork, an essay or a poem in the language of choice will be accepted. Entries must be emailed by Aug. 22 to connect@enjoyexploreindia.com.
Winners will be selected based on originality, relevance, creativity and overall presentation. Prizes range from $50-$100 gift cards.
Winners will be announced and recognized at the Festival of Light event Oct. 1 at the Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrenceville. Additional festivals will be held Oct. 8 at the Mills at Jersey Gardens, Elizabeth; Oct. 15 at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison; and Oct. 22 at the Newport Centre Mall, Jersey City.
Winning entries will be published in subsequent event programs, posted on EEI’s website and shared through social media.
