The Tri-State Budgerigar Society will host its 26th annual budgerigar (parakeet) show from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 20 and 21 at the Middlesex County 4H Youth Center Log Cabin, 645 Cranbury Road (Route 535), East Brunswick.
Birds must be entered by 10 a.m. Aug. 20 or 9 a.m. Aug. 21. Judging continues until all birds have been seen each day. There will be a Pet Budgie Division on Saturday only, with categories for exhibition and pet store types.
There will be birds for sale, awards, prizes and giveaways.
The daily entry fee per bird is $3 with a discount if entering BAA divisions both days. There is no admission fee for visitors.
