Applications are being accepted for the Fall 2016 South Brunswick Citizen Police Academy.

The academy will culminate with a day of practical exercises when students will handle simulated motor vehicle stops, disputes and other realistic scenarios.

The program will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Sept. 13 at police headquarters, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction. Gradation is set for Nov. 22.

The academy size is limited so residents are urged to complete their application by Aug. 19. Interested community members should download the application, complete it and return it to CPA@sbtnj.net.
