The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Middlesex County is offering pickleball lessons. Pickleball is traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special paddles made of wood or other materials. The ball is similar to a wiffle ball but slightly smaller. The lower net a wiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities, while still allowing more competitive players to test their abilities.

Learn the game on Thursdays, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the JCC, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison. An eight-week session will begin on Sept. 15; cost is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
