The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Rd., Edison, will offer the game of Pickleball from 12:30-1:30 p.m. for eight-week sessions beginning Sept. 15. Open Pickleball for members only is Wednesdays from 8-9 a.m.

Pickleball is traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special Pickleball paddles, made of wood or high-tech aerospace materials. The ball used is similar to a wiffle ball, but slightly smaller. The lower net and wiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities and more competitive players as well.
