Beach Bash will benefit Autism Family Services

Autism Family Services of New Jersey (AFSNJ) will hold the 12th annual Beach Bash from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the 7th Avenue beach in Belmar for families living with autism and related disorders.

The Beach Bash features a surf camp with Surfer’s Healing, a California-based nonprofit specializing in working with children with special needs. The event also includes an exhibitor tent featuring local and statewide services for individuals with autism, an activity tent, arts and crafts area, waterslide, dancing and interactive sessions throughout the day.

Lunch will be provided free to all registered families by various food sponsors like Belmar First Aid, Surf Taco and Whole Foods Market.
