Two East Brunswick residents charged with heroin possession

EAST BRUNSWICK — Two East Brunswick residents have been charged with possession of heroin.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and detectives from the East Brunswick Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at 5 Dalston St. in East Brunswick on Aug. 24.

The search warrant was a result of a several-month investigation conducted by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, according to information provided by the East Brunswick Police Department.

Lazaro Ruiz and Samantha Miller, both of East Brunswick, were charged with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin and distribution of heroin in a school zone.

Both were transported to the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick in lieu of $100,000 bail for Ruiz and $75,000 bail for Miller.
