‘Farewell To Summer’ Car Cruise For Charity on Sept. 24

The Red Oak Diner and Lounge, 2973 Route 35 North, Hazlet, will serve as the host to the ‘Farewell To Summer’ Car Cruise For Charity from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the back parking lot of the diner. It is free and open to the public.

All classes of vehicles are welcome. There will be prizes for the best cars along with live music and dinner and drink specials. Registration fees are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event.

The charitable beneficiary is Friends Feeding Families, a non-profit organization that  operates a food pantry in the First United Methodist Church in Belford. Checks should be made payable to Friends Feeding Families.
