Carve or paint a pumpkin with the Monmouth County Park System

The Monmouth County Park System’s will hold “Pumpkin Carving and Painting Stations” Oct. 8-9. Area residents are invited to carve or paint a pumpkin to take home. Those wishing to carve can create their own design or use a template. Both small and large pumpkins will be available. Small pumpkins are for painting only.

The schedule is as follows: Oct. 8 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Thompson Park Creative Arts Center, Lincroft; Oct. 8 from 2-4 p.m. at the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center, Tinton Falls; Oct. 9 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Holmdel Park Shelter Building, Holmdel; Oct. 9 from 2-4 p.m. at Big Brook Park, Marlboro.

This program is open to all ages, under 18 with adult. The cost is $10 for a large pumpkin and $6 for a small pumpkin. All supplies are provided. Pre-registration is required.
