Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County (HFHMC) and the Guild of Creative Art announce its first art exhibition, “Art for Homes,” marking the fourth anniversary of superstorm Sandy. The exhibition will be held at the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on Oct. 28. The evening will include live entertainment, a silent auction, food and refreshments.

Participating artists were asked to create a piece of artwork incorporating either a building item such as a hammer, nails, etc., or a construction plan of one of Habitat’s homes. The artwork will be auctioned off the night of the event, and proceeds will support HFHMC as well as the Guild of Creative Art.
