Rumson Garden Club announces lecture set for Oct. 18

Cindy Zipf, executive director of Clean Ocean Action, a nonprofit organization based in Highlands, N.J., which focuses on improving the degraded water quality of the marine waters off the New Jersey/New York coast, will present a special public lecture entitled “Watershed Mindfulness – We Are All Connected to the Sea” from 11 a.m.-noon on Oct. 18 at The Rumson Country Club, 163 Rumson Rd., Rumson.

The free lecture is open to the public. Reservations are not required for the lecture. More information can be obtained by calling Liz Card, club president, at 732-741-7296.
