The following races will be held on Election Day, Nov. 8:

  • Middlesex County Sheriff — Incumbent Democrat Mildred Scott vs. Republican Pedro “Peter” Pisar;
  • Middlesex County Freeholder — Incumbent Democrats Blanquita Valenti, Kenneth Armwood and Charles Kenny vs. Republicans Joseph Scillieri, Kathleen Calabrese and Zhiyu “Jimmy” Ju;
  • Old Bridge Council — Ward 3 — Democrat incumbent June Dungee vs. Republican Frank Weber;
  • Sayreville Council — Democrat incumbent Daniel Buchanan and Ricci Melendez vs. Republican incumbent Arthur Rittenhouse and Christian Hibinski;
  • South Amboy Council — Ward 1 — Democrat Brian McLaughlin vs. Independent Barbara Pasternack. Ward 2 Democrat Thomas Reilly and Ward 3 Democrat Zusette Dato are running unopposed.
