The Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company will hold an open house from 1-4 p.m. on Oct. 15, rain or shine, at the firehouse, 125 New Road, Kendall Park.

The event will include a visit by Sparky the Fire Dog, displays of fire equipment and an interactive smoke trailer. The will be free safety giveaways and a smoke detector raffle, as well as refreshments and sand art.
