Author to present in Fair Haven Nov. 15

River Road Books and The Monmouth County Historical Association will welcome author James L. Haley, at 7 p.m. on Nov. 15 at Nauvoo Grill Club, 121 Fair Haven Rd., Fair Haven.

“The Shores of Tripoli” is the first novel in a new series by the award-winning historian, Haley. This story features young midshipman, Bliven Putnam, as he begins his naval service aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. Rich with historical detail and action, “The Shores of Tripoli” brings this period in American history to life with clarity.

The cost is $30 and Includes a hardcover copy of “The Shores of Tripoli” and lite fare. River Road Books will also make a donation to The Monmouth County Historical Association with each ticket sold. A cash bar is available. RSVP to riverroadbooks@verizon.net.
