Seminar to focus on rights of students with disabilities

The New Jersey State Bar Foundation will address the educational needs and rights of students with disabilities and their parents at a free seminar from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 14 at the New Jersey Law Center, 1 Constitution Square, off Ryders Lane, New Brunswick.

The seminar will cover the Child Study Team, the Individual Education Plan (IEP), fostering cooperation between parents and school district personnel, steps to resolve disputes and independent evaluations.

The workshop is open to parents, school administrator, teachers and the general public. Admission is free but registration is required by visiting www.njsbf.org or calling 1-800-FREE-LAW.
