MILLTOWN – Milltown police are warning residents about phone solicitors who have been acting as emergency services personnel and military/veteran organizations.

“It is understood that there are many legitimate charities who solicit donations by phone; however, each call should be confirmed as valid before any monies or personal information is exchanged,” a statement released by the Milltown Police Department stated.
