The South Brunswick Library will offer a free screening of The New York Philharmonic Gala with Yo-Yo Ma at 3 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction.
The pre-recorded performance marks the start of the library’s new Lincoln Center Local series, a partnership with Lincoln Center Local to offer free exclusive screenings of some of their world-class performances in the library.
The gala was originally performed at Avery Fisher Hall in September of 2013 and filmed at Lincoln Center.
There will be a brief audience participation conversation and light refreshments, courtesy of the Friends of the Library, following the screening.
The next free Lincoln Center screening will be “Sinatra: A Voice for a Century” at 3 p.m. Jan. 8.
