Metuchen-Edison Hadassah will sponsor a presentation on Dec. 6 by author Elizabeth Bettina, who wrote “It Happened in Italy” at Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen.
The little-known story of the Italian populace’s kind and courageous response to Hitler’s call for Italy’s Jews to be rounded up into internment camps begins at 7:30 p.m. following a 6:30 p.m. catered Italian Kosher dinner. The presentation is free and open to the public.
