Sounds of holiday music to fill library Dec. 5

The Friends of the Jamesburg Public Library will present a free holiday concert featuring Rouge et Noir, a group of Rutgers University alumni who have formed a clarinet ensemble, 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the library, 229 Gatzmer Ave.

The program will include old favorites and new holiday tunes. Light refreshments will be served.

Seats are still available for the Friends’ Dec. 3 bus trip to Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pa., to view holiday flowers and light displays. Cost is $65 and includes bus transportation, entrance fee, a $10 voucher toward a meal at the Gardens and the bus driver’s gratuity. Payment is due when signing up at the library. The bus will depart from the library at 1 p.m. and return at approximately 9 p.m.
