Community watch night service set for Dec. 31

Pilgrim Baptist Church of Red Bank, 172 Shrewsbury Ave., will hold a Traditional Watch Night Service on Dec. 31.

The evening will begin at 9:30 p.m. with a Community Prosperity Pot-Luck Meal (greens, corn bread, black eye peas, etc.). At 10:15 p.m. there will be a Praise and Thanksgiving Testimonial Period which will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving beginning at 11 p.m. and an Altar Prayer Service at 11:45 p.m.

Special guest for the service will be the Second Baptist Church of Long Branch. Pastor Aaron Gibson will give the evening homily and the Second Baptist Church Choir will also minister in song. Doors open at 9 p.m. All are welcome.
