Hightstown swears in two new commissioners

At the Hightstown Borough Governing body meeting this week, the Hightstown Mayor and Council swore in two new commissioners., Todd Frantz was sworn in as a new Environmental Commission member by Councilman Connor Montferrat and Margaret Frantz was sworn in as the new Historic Preservation Commissioner by Councilman Steven Misiura at the recent Hightstown Borough Council meeting., Todd Frantz will serve on the Environmental Commission for a three-year term until December of 2019. Margaret Frantz will service on the Historic Preservation Commission as an alternate for an unexpired term until the end of the year. The new chairs of the commissions, Environmental Chair David Zaiser and Historic Preservation Chair Dimitri Musing, welcomed the newest commissioners., “Hightstown’s volunteers are the backbone of the town and their dedication to our town is what makes Hightstown so special,” said Mayor Larry Quattrone., The borough is actively asking residents to spread the word about volunteer activities within the government and about vacancies on commissions., Those who would like to volunteer on a committee or commission can visit: http://www.hightstownborough.com/volunteers.
